About NourishUs Naturals

NourishUs Naturals is a U.S.-based manufacturer specializing in private label and white label skin and hair care products. We help emerging and established businesses bring high-quality, responsibly crafted products to market.

We produce a wide range of topical cosmetic products, including skin care and hair care formulas. Our products are naturally derived, with options that are vegan, cruelty-free, and whenever possible, certified organic.

We operate from a 70,000-square-foot facility in Portland, OR, where all product bases and formulas are created on-site. Our location gives us access to some of the cleanest water in the U.S. and features a large solar array to support sustainable production.

We are built on three core values:

  • Innovation and Sustainability – We embrace thoughtful creativity and ethical choices that reflect genuine care for people, animals, and the planet.
  • Trust and Authenticity – We build strong relationships through transparency, passion, purpose, and science.
  • Integrity and Responsibility – We value the insight and collaboration of our partners, acting with transparency and care in all we do.

We have a strong ownership structure, clear payment terms, and disciplined processes to ensure reliability. By purchasing the assets and intellectual property of Essential Labs through a court-approved sale, NourishUs Naturals has expanded its capabilities while operating as an independent and financially stable business. Our focus is on timely payments, dependable fulfillment, and building lasting partnerships.

Orders & Returns

During our transition, some orders may arrive with the Essential Labs label and logo. To avoid delays and reduce waste, we are not reprinting labels on current inventory. The products inside are exactly the same — freshly made to our standards, with no changes to ingredients, formulations, or manufacturing processes. Shelf life and product integrity are unaffected; you can confirm freshness by checking the batch code on your package. As we sell through existing stock, you’ll begin seeing the updated NourishUs Naturals labels on future orders.

For Private Label & Custom orders, we do not accept returns unless Essential Labs did not deliver previously agreed upon items. Please refer to our Returns & Shipping page for more information.

We ship internationally to certain countries, but request that you do your due diligence into the country for their dossier, custom, and commerce requirements. This is your responsibility as the importer. Please refer to our Returns & Shipping page to view which countries we currently ship to.

Vendor FAQs

Operations & Relationship

You’ll continue working with many of the same experienced team members you already know from Essential Labs. Those familiar contacts; account managers, operations staff, and service reps; are now part of the NourishUs Naturals team. What’s new is we have strong internal processes for payments and communication, so you have clear instructions, consistent follow-up, and timely resolution of any issues. The goal is continuity with the people you trust, supported by systems that make our partnership more stable and predictable.

We manage vendor relationships with clarity, fairness, and long-term partnership mindset. In practice, that means setting expectations up front, honoring commitments, and keeping communication consistent. Vendors can count on reliable processes for purchasing and payments, along with a team that follows through. At the same time, we value sustainability and ethical practices, and we look to collaborate with partners who share those priorities. This approach ensures our operations are stable and mutually beneficial.

Supply & Production FAQs

We do not drop-ship and we do not function as a fulfillment house. All finished products are packaged and palletized for delivery to your location or distribution center.

Unfortunately, no. Ingredient sourcing is a critical component of our commitment to sustainability, quality and safety. Occasionally, a customer will want an ingredient we will not source, and we will ask a customer to provide it along with a Safety Data Sheet (SDS), Technical Specs (TDS) and Certificate of Analysis (CoA) for each ingredient.

We are a small batch manufacturer to ensure freshness, so it really depends on the product! On average, for bulk delivery (drum sizes) production lead times are 8-12 weeks. For items in stock, we can ship out the next day, and then delivery times depend on the final destination. If you have any questions about lead times, please reach out to our customer service team.

Manufacturing Process

No, the minimum is per variant. Feel free to reach out to our customer service team for further questions.

Research & Development

The formula will remain under NourishUs Naturals ownership. For those interested in purchasing the formula we create for them, the cost of the formula is set when the product is approved, and the formula confirmed.

No. Once we complete the research and development of a custom formula, we will only manufacture the formula for the customer who commissioned and/or owns the formula.

Absolutely. Every client's products and product ideas are kept confidential. Without explicit consent from our clients, any information given to us is treated as confidential and is not shared. We do not share lists with companies or disclose any information related to your business with us to anyone.

Sometimes. We can provide an estimate on stock bases that are being filled into your packaging or some semi-custom formulas. When it comes to custom formulas, we cannot always provide estimates before we create the formula, although we will work with you to determine your price point requirements prior to developing your formula. You will receive a firm price for your approval once packaging and product has been approved.
