Add to the oil phase of emulsions or blend directly into anhydrous systems. Compatible with both cold and hot process formulations.

Option 1: Body Lotions & Creams

Incorporate at 3–20% into the oil phase of emulsified lotions and creams. Its high-oleic profile offers good oxidative stability and a light, non-greasy conditioned feel.

Option 2: Facial Oils & Massage Blends

Use at 5–30% in anhydrous facial oils and massage blends. A cost-effective base oil that pairs well with specialty oils to balance skin feel; suitable for hot and cold process.

Option 3: Cold-Process Soaps & Cleansing Bars

Use at 5–20% of the oil portion in cold-process soaps and bars. Contributes conditioning properties; balance with harder oils to maintain bar firmness and stability.

Option 4: To Add to a Finished Base

To add sunflower oil to a finished cosmetic base, incorporate it at 1–10% of the total product weight. Warm the base gently to 40–45°C (104–113°F) if needed to aid blending, then add the oil slowly with continuous stirring until fully homogeneous. Confirm a uniform texture with no visible separation before filling into final packaging.
