Stearic Acid is a naturally-derived fatty acid commonly used in cosmetic formulations as a structuring agent, thickener, and co-emulsifier. Ingredient Information

Add to the oil phase of emulsions and heat to melt (typically 65–75°C/149-167°F). Combine with alkali or emulsifiers as needed. Compatible with both hot process and melt-and-pour systems.
