Add at 8-15% to a solid shampoo bar for gentle cleansing and a smooth after-feel on the strand. Best suited for hot-process applications due to its melting requirement. Mix until fully uniform with no undissolved particles.

Option 4: To Add to a Finished Base

To add Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate powder to a finished cosmetic product, first melt it into a small heated portion of the surfactant or oil-based part of the base, as it requires heat to incorporate properly. Blend this melted mixture back into the finished product while it is still warm, stirring thoroughly until smooth. Because of its melting requirement it suits warm or hot-process products such as creamy washes or bars rather than cold bases, with a typical use level of around 5% to 15%. Mix until fully uniform and confirm the finished product cools to an even, grit-free texture with no undissolved particles.
