Option 1: Facial Oils and Serums

Blend at 1% to 5% into anhydrous facial oils or serums with lighter carrier oils to deliver a rich, conditioning feel while managing the intense natural color.

Option 2: Balms and Salves

Incorporate at 0.5% to 3% into the melted oil phase of balms and salves to add a warm hue and a cushioning skin feel, adding after the main melt has cooled slightly.

Option 3: Emulsified Creams and Lotions

Add at 0.5% to 2% to the oil phase of creams and lotions; the low use rate helps limit color transfer while still contributing a soft, conditioned after-feel.

Option 4: To Add to a Finished Base

To add Sea Buckthorn Berry Oil to a finished cosmetic base, pre-blend it with a small amount of a compatible carrier oil to ease dispersion, then stir the mixture thoroughly into the anhydrous or emulsified base. Carefully measure the oil to keep the final concentration between 0.5% and 5% so the strong natural color does not overwhelm the product. Mix slowly and evenly until fully uniform, then check the finished shade and aroma before packaging.
