Polysorbate 20

• A water soluble emulsifier perfect for adding essential oils to room sprays, toners, and perfumes.
• A lighter colored, less visually obvious alternative to Polysorbate 80.
• A non-ionic, low foam surfactant that can be used as a dispersant as well as a solubilizer of oil or fragrance.

Blend oil-soluble ingredients into Polysorbate 20 before adding to the water phase. Typically used at a 1:1 to 1:10 ratio of oil to Polysorbate 20, depending on solubility needs. Compatible with cold or hot process methods. Product is sensitive to microbial contamination in water-based systems; proper preservation is recommended in finished formulations.
