Polyquaternium-7 is a cationic conditioning polymer widely used in rinse-off and leave-on cosmetic formulations to help improve slip, softness, and manageability. It forms a lightweight, invisible film on the skin or hair that helps reduce static, enhance smoothness, and improve combability without weighing hair down or leaving a greasy feel. In skin care, it contributes to a silky application texture and can help reduce tackiness in gel or serum systems. It’s especially useful in shampoos, conditioners, body washes, and styling products and is manufactured in the USA.

Add to the water phase of formulations. Can be used in both hot and cold process systems. Compatible with most nonionic and anionic surfactants. Review preservative system provided by supplier prior to use in preservative-sensitive applications.
