Pre-mix with lipophilic ingredients such as essential oils or fragrances at room temperature, then add to the water phase or surfactant base under stirring. Adjust pH to 4.5-6.5 if necessary; compatible with cold process formulations. In surfactant-based products, may reduce viscosity—adjust at the end. 

• Solubility: Soluble in: water. Dispersible in: water (viscous liquid).  
• Processing Temperature: Add at: room temperature or heated water phase.  
• Heat tolerance: max 122°F / 50°C. Avoid: temperatures above 122°F / 50°C, vigorous stirring. 
• Melting Point / Form: Liquid at room temperature (melting point <32°F / 0°C). 
• Recommended Phase: Water phase (heated or cool-down) 
• Recommended pH: pH 11.0 – 12.5 (as supplied)
