Option 1: Facial Serums & Water-Based Treatments

Use at 0.5-3% dissolved in the water phase of leave-on serums and essences. Confirm full dissolution before combining phases and verify the final pH stays within your intended range for a clear, uniform product.

Option 2: Emulsions, Lotions & Creams

Incorporate at 1-3% into the water phase of oil-in-water lotions and creams, adding during cool-down for temperature-sensitive systems. Blend until fully dissolved to maintain a smooth, homogeneous texture.

Option 3: Conditioners & Hair Care

Add at 0.5-2% to the water phase of rinse-off and leave-in conditioners for a conditioned feel. Ensure complete dissolution before packaging.

Option 4: To Add to a Finished Base

To add OptiMSM to a finished cosmetic base, pre-dissolve the powder in a small amount of warm distilled water before incorporating into the finished product at 0.5–3% of the total formulation weight. Add the dissolved solution slowly to the base with continuous stirring until fully blended and uniform. Confirm the final product has a homogeneous appearance and check pH to verify it remains within the intended range before packaging.
