Option 1: Facial Oils & Balms

Use at 5–20% in anhydrous facial oil blends, cleansing oils, or balms. Its rich oleic profile leaves skin feeling soft and conditioned, so pair with lighter carrier oils to balance the skin feel.

Option 2: Body Butters, Lotions & Creams

Incorporate at 3–15% into the oil phase of emulsified body creams, lotions, and butters. Contributes a rich, cushioned feel well suited to formulas for dry or rough-feeling skin.

Option 3: Cold-Process Soaps & Bar Products

Use at 10–100% of the oil portion in cold-process soap and syndet-style bars. Contributes a mild, conditioning bar; blend with harder oils or butters to adjust bar firmness and lather.

Option 4: To Add to a Finished Base

To incorporate olive extra virgin oil into a finished cosmetic base, gently warm the completed product to about 40–45°C (104–113°F) so the oil blends smoothly and evenly. Add it at 1–10% of the total weight while stirring continuously until you achieve a homogeneous mixture. Allow the product to return to room temperature with continued gentle mixing, then check the final texture and consistency before repackaging. Skin should feel softer and more conditioned after use.
