Add to the oil phase of emulsions or incorporate directly into anhydrous products. Can be used in both heated and cool-down phases, depending on formulation needs.

Option 1: Leave-On Facial Oil

Use at 5% to 30% in a facial oil blend for a velvety, non-greasy skin feel and a smooth finish, with excellent oxidative stability supporting a long shelf life. Add at room temperature and mix well.

Option 2: Hair Conditioning Oil

Include at 5% to 20% in a leave-on hair oil to add slip, softness, and a smooth surface feel. Blend gently into the oil phase until uniform.

Option 3: Body Butter

Add at 2% to 10% into the oil phase of an anhydrous body butter to lend a rich, conditioning glide. Incorporate in the heated or cool-down phase as needed.

Option 4: To Add to a Finished Base

To add unrefined meadowfoam seed oil to a finished cosmetic product, stir it into an oil-based or anhydrous base at room temperature, or into the oil portion of a finished emulsion during cool-down. Use it at a typical rate of about 2% to 10%, or higher in hair and facial oil blends. Thanks to its high oxidative stability and liquid form, no pre-melting or pre-dissolving is required; simply mix thoroughly until evenly distributed. After incorporation, confirm the product is homogeneous with a smooth, consistent feel.
