Option 1: Gentle Body Wash

Use at 2-10% in a body wash as a mild amphoteric surfactant and foam booster that supports a smooth, conditioned feel. Stir directly into the water phase at room temperature; no heating required. Optimal in systems with pH 5-8.

Option 2: Facial Cleanser

Incorporate at 2-8% into a facial cleanser to lower surface tension, enhance foam, and improve mildness alongside anionic surfactants. It is water-soluble and easy to blend in cold process. Confirm the finished base stays clear and homogeneous.

Option 3: Shampoo

Add at 3-10% to a shampoo as a foam-boosting, conditioning co-surfactant. Blend into the water phase with gentle mixing to control foaming. Stable across pH 4-10, so adjust the finished formula as needed.

Option 4: To Add to a Finished Base

To add disodium lauroamphodiacetate to a finished cleansing product, stir this water-soluble amphoteric surfactant directly into the water phase at room temperature, since no heating is required. Add it gradually with gentle mixing to control foam, pre-diluting in a small amount of cosmetic water if the base is viscous. Use it at a typical level of about 2% to 10% as a mild co-surfactant and foam booster. It performs best in systems at pH 5 to 8, so confirm the finished product's pH sits in that range and check that the blend is uniform with no separation.
