Chia Seed Oil is a nutrient-rich oil cold-pressed from the seeds of Salvia hispanica. Naturally high in alpha-linolenic acid (omega-3), linoleic acid (omega-6), and natural antioxidants, it is valued in cosmetic formulations for its emollient and skin-conditioning properties. Its lightweight texture helps improve moisture retention and provides a smooth, nourishing feel to skin and hair. Suitable for use in creams, lotions, serums, hair treatments, and oil blends, it is especially favored in products highlighting natural and superfood-derived ingredients, although our Chia Seed is only sold for topical cosmetic use only.

Product Information

Add to the oil phase of emulsions or incorporate directly into anhydrous products. Best added to cool-down phases due to the fatty acids.
