Option 1: Leave-On Facial Oil

Add at 0.5% to 2% into a facial oil blend to contribute an emollient, conditioning feel and a warm, earthy natural aroma. Keep the level low so the distinctive scent and amber color stay balanced.

Option 2: Anhydrous Balm

Use at 0.5% to 2% in a balm or salve to add richness and a soft, conditioned skin feel. Stir into the oil phase and confirm the color and scent are to preference.

Option 3: Body Oil Blend

Incorporate at 0.5% to 1.5% into a body oil to lend a smooth emollient finish with a characteristic botanical aroma. Blend thoroughly into the oil phase at room temperature.

Option 4: To Add to a Finished Base

To add carrot seed oil to a finished cosmetic product, stir it into an oil-based or anhydrous base at room temperature, or into the oil portion of a finished emulsion. Use it at a low typical rate of about 0.5% to 2%, since it carries a strong, earthy natural aroma that can dominate at higher levels. No pre-melting or pre-dissolving is needed because it is liquid and oil-soluble; simply blend thoroughly for even distribution. After incorporation, confirm the product is homogeneous and that the scent and color are balanced to your preference.
