Option 1: Facial Serums & Facial Oils

Use at 5–25% in anhydrous facial serums and oil blends. Its lightweight, fast-absorbing feel makes it ideal as a primary oil for a smooth, non-greasy finish.

Option 2: Lightweight Lotions & Emulsions

Add at 2–10% to the oil phase of light lotions and emulsions. Can be added at room temperature or during cool down and leaves skin feeling smooth and lightly conditioned.

Option 3: Hair Oils & Leave-In Treatments

Use at 2–10% in hair oils, serums, and leave-in treatments. Adds slip and a silky, weightless feel to hair without heaviness.

Option 4: To Add to a Finished Base

To add camellia seed oil to a finished product, it can usually be stirred directly into the base at room temperature since it is a lightweight, fast-absorbing oil. Incorporate it at 1–10% of the total weight, mixing gently but thoroughly until the blend is uniform. If the base is thick, warm it slightly to around 35°C (95°F) to ease dispersion, then check homogeneity and texture before packaging. Skin should feel smooth and lightly conditioned.
