Beta-Carotene is an excellent skin care ingredient, serving as an antioxidant and precursor to vitamin A, thus is frequently referred to as provitamin A. It's a wonderful skin conditioning ingredient and is also used as a cosmetic colorant. Beta carotene is unstable at 100% and thus this powder is 20% beta carotene. This blend of 80% Castor Oil and 20% Beta Carotene combines the viscous, conditioning properties of castor oil with the vibrant natural pigment and antioxidant benefits of beta carotene. Castor oil, derived from the seeds of Ricinus communis, contributes richness, film-forming support, and gloss to skin and hair care formulations. The addition of beta carotene, a plant-based carotenoid, provides a natural golden-orange hue ideal for enhancing the visual appeal of balms, oils, butters, and color-rich emulsions. This ready-to-use blend supports natural branding, vibrant aesthetics, and conditioning performance in topical formulations.
