Add to the oil phase and heat until fully melted, typically 62–65 °C (144–149 °F). Combine with other heated phases and blend until evenly mixed.

Option 1: Anhydrous Lip Balm

Add at 8% to 20% to the oil phase of a lip balm, pre-melted at 62 to 65 degrees C, to build firm structure and a smooth, glossy stick. Keep the base warm during mixing so the wax does not set prematurely.

Option 2: Body Butter or Salve

Use at 3% to 10% in an anhydrous body butter or salve to add body, firmness, and a light film-forming finish with a mild honey-like aroma. Blend fully melted until uniform.

Option 3: Emulsified Barrier Cream

Include at 2% to 8% in the oil phase of a rich barrier cream to lend occlusivity and a firmer, cushioned texture. Combine with the heated water phase and mix until smooth.

Option 4: To Add to a Finished Base

To add yellow beeswax to a finished anhydrous product, pre-melt it fully at about 144–149°F (62–65°C), then stir it into your warmed oil-based base. Incorporate it at a typical use rate of about 3% to 15%, using more for firmer balms and sticks and less for softer textures. Keep the base warm during mixing so the wax does not set prematurely, and blend until evenly combined. After the product cools and sets, confirm it is homogeneous with the intended firmness and a smooth surface.
