To add Alpha Lipoic Acid Solution to a finished cosmetic product, stir this ready-to-use ethanol-based solution slowly into a water, water-alcohol, or gel base at a typical use level of about 0.5% to 1% of the total formula. Because it is already dissolved in ethanol, no pre-melting or pre-dissolving is needed, but add it gradually while mixing to keep the base clear and uniform.
